Nolwenn Vahé supported Emmanuel Macron in 2017. She even had candidate under the banner of his party, En Marche, during the legislative elections of that year, in the 6e constituency ofIlle-et-Vilaine (Ferns).

She then reached the second round, but failed (42%) against Thierry Benoît, who was at that time the UDI candidate (Union of Democrats and Independents). This last, re-elected in 2022 and outgoing MP, has now rallied the presidential majority and is running under the Horizons label in the early legislative elections of June 30 and July 7.

“The best and only solution”

In this context, Nolwenn Vahé exchange of political positioning and says he is “very worry by the possible consequences of this dissolution. She fears “the election of a National Rally majority [qui] would be dramatic for our country.”

For this reason, she “considers that the best and the only solution to give back hope to our fellow citizens and breath to the democracy French, to restore more social justice, is to vote for the New Popular Front, an alliance of left-wing parties” and “therefore calls to vote for Elsa Lafaye, on June 30 and July 7”.
