Yes. In the match, there is such a theoretical difference between the two teams that normally we should win. In relation to the control, to the individual difference of the players that we can make at any time, to the number of situations that we had at the end of the first half and at the start of the second. Indeed, we saw a great Polish goalkeeper, but perhaps also because we were sorely lacking in accuracy in the last gesture… We remain unsatisfied, but just as we remain unsatisfied in the preparation matches for this championship. Is this what disappoints you the most?
Yes, because I remain firmly convinced that we have, on an individual level, enormous potential, in terms of power, intensity, speed… There is no team in Europe that has this potential – there, nor this bench. In terms of experience too, it is of a very high level.

Second in the group, anecdotal or with serious consequences?
For the round of 16, at the limit, it’s not too embarrassing because against any of the opponents we take from the group that concerns us (E), it should normally pass. Of course, based on what was said previously. It will be more annoying for the quarter-finals, where we will find ourselves with the risk, I think, of meeting either Spain, or Portugal, or Germany, the big names of this Euro. In the other table, there was practically only England as a big team. So, I think it was better to stay in that table. But we didn’t deserve it, we finished 2nd.

This shows that we will have to do a lot more in the future. Once again, we have the potential to be the best team and European champion, but we will have to completely change the ingredients and mentality, in terms of animation and play for others, for that to happen.
