First constituency
Outgoing MP, Jordan Guitton, 29, is running for re-election. The representative of the National Rally will try to ride on the good momentum of his movement which came well ahead in the European elections (44% in Aube).
He will face a candidate from the presidential majority in the person of Philippe Beury, 66 years old. The former Estac doctor was invested under the banner “Together for the Republic”. It is supported by Renaissance and Horizons, party of Édouard Philippe.
The Republicans will be represented by Chris Manieri-Bigorgne, eco-management teacher. Responsible for the Young LR of Aube, the 34-year-old activist, involved since 2016, is also a delegated municipal councilor in the municipality of Rosières. This will be his first legislative election.
Just like Alice Barry. The socialist was invested by the New Popular Front. This lawyer specializing in labor law within the CGT has been an activist in the PS since 2010.
The left union candidate will face competition from Lionel Paillard, representative of Lutte Ouvrière. As in 2022, the 46-year-old librarian will represent the voice of workers.
Second constituency
Valérie Bazin-Malgras, outgoing LR MP, is a candidate for re-election. The “constructive opposition” parliamentarian presents herself on an independent right-wing line, refusing both the alliance with the RN advocated by Éric Ciotti and the rapprochement with the presidential majority.
Faced with it, the National Rally has invested Jordan Guitton’s collaborator in the National Assembly, Albéric Ferrand. At 27, this son of a former RN MEP wants to ride the momentum of his movement.
He will be confronted by Salomé Fontaine-Garcia, Modem delegate of the department, who will represent the presidential majority.
Samira Sebbari, 48, will represent the New Popular Front in the second constituency of Aube. This business manager is a former municipal elected official of La Chapelle-Saint-Luc.
Lutte Ouvrière will also be in the running with Romain Vallée, a 40-year-old documentalist, who will defend the anti-capitalist party.
Third district
The third constituency will be the most contested with seven candidates. Angélique Ranc, 36, outgoing RN deputy, intends to be re-elected.
She will be confronted by Luc Scherrer, president of Renaissance Aube, Emmanuel Macron’s party, and director of Décathlon in Lavau.
The Republicans have chosen to invest Didier Leprince, mayor of Fontvannes, departmental councilor of the canton of Aix-Villemaur-Pâlis.
Another departmental advisor, this time from the left, will also be in the running. Olivier Girardin, 55, mayor of La Chapelle-Saint-Luc, was nominated by the New Popular Front.
Lutte Ouvrière will also be represented in this constituency by Pascal Andrieux, 67 years old, retired and former specialized educator.
Two candidates are standing as independents. Olivier Richard, Trojan municipal councilor, elected on François Baroin’s list in 2020 before becoming an opponent, will carry “ the values of a republican right”.
La Savinienne Nelly Collot-Touzé will be the candidate for Ecology at the center.
