Bèze and Nuits-Saint-Georges also represented

Indeed, The Water Fox, located in Bèze, and The Salt Granarybased in Nuits-Saint-Georges, also took part in the adventure. In total, viewers will be able to discover the cuisine of eight establishments in the region between November 18 and 22. The three restaurants in Côte-d'Or will thus have to face two establishments from Saône-et- and a representative from , another from Nièvre and a final one from Haute-Saône.

What is the concept of the show?

The principle of this new tour de of delicacies? Promote regional, traditional and popular cuisine. For this, M6 called on two regulars: chefs Yoann Conte (Objectif Top Chef) and Norbert Tarayre (Top Chef, Le combat des regions, La Meilleure Boulangerie de France, etc.).

Every week, the two gourmets change regions. Every day, two restaurants face each other and are evaluated based on four criteria: reception and decoration, appetizer, first course and second course. The one who obtains the best average qualifies for the final creativity test on Friday. And at the end, only one restaurant is awarded the title of “Best typical restaurant in its region”.

A prize which constitutes the supreme Grail of this competition which does not have a national final to avoid seeing a sauerkraut and a beef bourguignon clash.
