Genevieve Grad died at the age of 80
Geneviève Grad began her career in the 1960s. She first got noticed in the film Captain Fracasse (1961) with Jean Marais. She quickly moved on to other roles in popular comedies and films. But it was in 1964, with her role as Nicole Cruchot in The Gendarme of Saint-Tropezthat she experienced consecration. His presence in this film as well as in the next two in the series, The Constable in New York (1965) et The Gendarme gets married (1968), allowed him to become famous in France but also abroad. The actress was battling cancer
Despite her success, Geneviève Grad decided to gradually withdraw from the world of cinema in the 1980s. On the private side, the actress had a son with Igor Bogdanoff. Then, she was married for thirty years to her husband Jean Guillaume, until his death.
