Open since March, the administrative procedures assistance service located next to the Isigny-le-Buat town hall has been labeled France Services space. This space joins the France Services network in the urban community territory. Stéphanie Abraham and Camille Barbedette, community agents, advise users of the municipality.

What do these France Services structures consist of?

At the initiative of the State, these structures aim to replace the public service in the heart of the territories.

France Services allow each citizen to access various public services, in a location close to their home and to benefit from quality support to carry out their administrative procedures.

France Services agents are trained to answer questions relating to the administrative procedures of the following partner operators: the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of Public Finances, the Ministry of Justice, the National Health Insurance Fund, the National Retirement Insurance Fund, the National Family Allowance Fund, France Travail, the Agricultural Social Mutual Fund, the Post Office, the Ministry of Energy Transition, the Bank of France.

Approved, these agents can help users with their procedures, for example, a request for gray cardhousing allowance, online income tax declaration, registration with France Travail or even a request to the retirement

Users are informed and supported in the use of the various existing administrative services and, more broadly, in the use of digital tools. This support is free and by appointment.

A local space

In a press release, the urban community specifies that “the choice of location reflects the political will of community elected officials to be close to users since every French person must be able to benefit from France Services less than 30 minutes from his home. That said, it is important to emphasize the fact that these services are community-based and that the two agents recruited for these missions are part of the payroll of the Mont Saint-Michel – Normandy agglomeration community.”
