This Friday, November 8, 2024 in the north of Lotat the end of the morning, a heavy goods vehicle collided with a light vehicle on the RD803municipality of Lachapelle-Auzacat a place called Le Pigeon Haut. The driver of the light vehicle, aged 80, died in this traffic accidentwhich left two others injured, one seriously.
An octogenarian couple
THE Lot firefighters were alerted this Friday, November 8, 2024 at the end of the morning, around 11 a.m., for a road accident on the RD 803 at a place called Le Pigeon Haut in the town of Lachapelle-Auzac. A heavy goods vehicle collided with a private car in which there were two passengers. The 80-year-old driver died. A man, also aged 80, was seriously injured. Iwas airlifted to the Purpan hospital in Toulouse.
The driver of the heavy goods vehicle, a 34-year-old manwas slightly injured and taken to Gourdon hospital.
Around twenty firefighters from Souillac, Martel and Gourdon intervened on the scene. The gendarmerie is still on site at the beginning of the afternoon to supervise the evacuation of vehicles. Traffic is always alternating.
An investigation is open to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
