The Enedis company will control the electrical network from the town of Langon (Gironde), from Tuesday November 12 to Friday December 6, 2024. The operation will be carried out by drones.
“This is to ensure its public service mission and to control its electricity network,” specifies Langon town hall in a press release.
To carry out these flights, Enedis commissioned the company Drone Volt.
Drone Volt will carry out inventories, then checks, on the pruning carried out for the entire aerial network of high voltage HV lines in Gironde.
Several remote pilots will be deployed in the territory of the municipality of Langon
Air operations over the city
Aerial operations by drones will therefore take place in Langon between November 12 and December 6.
Langon town hall asks residents to remain cautious and “to do not disrupt these inspections by crowding under the device.”
