All Blacks legend, Dan Carter remains attached to certain traditions. In an interview given to Olympic Midday this Tuesday, November 5, the best scorer in the history of New Zealand was surprised to learn that the XV of France had regulated the consumption of alcohol, banning it in the sports arena and prohibiting third half -time.
“I can’t believe removing them is a very good idea, frankly”engages the former Perpignan and Racing 92 player before developing his thoughts.
The third half, “a sacred moment” for Carter
“I'm not condemning their decision, but the best moments of my rugby career were probably spent drinking a beer with my teammates just after the match, in the locker room. It was our moment, our sacred moment”he insists.
