Dedicated to animal risks, this exclusively professional congress will take place on Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8 at the Disney Newport Bay Club Hotel Convention Center, in Chessy. It follows a first edition organized in 2022 at the Amnéville zoo () and which brought together nearly 270 specialists on the issue.

This time, it is the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Seine-et- (Sdis 77), led since 2020 by the controller general Bruno Maestracci, who is at the initiative of this second edition.

Round tables with various stakeholders

These two days will include a trade fair section with more than 20 exhibitors (demonstrations are planned with reptiles) and moments of discussion with various stakeholders (firefighters, veterinarians, elected officials and public and private partners) within the framework of round tables.

If, since November 25, 2021 and the “Matras” law, animal protection is clearly part of the missions of firefightersin fact, they have always been confronted with this type of intervention.

The objective of this awareness-raising operation is therefore to promote this specialty with state services, elected officials, law enforcement or associations.
