The descent of the Sarra, a classic of the Lyon Urban Trail by night in Lyon
Nearly 8,000 runners are expected in the streets of Old Lyon this Saturday, November 2 for the Lyon Urban Trail by night. A night race, which will start at 6 p.m. and which will cause traffic changes in the area.
The streets of Old Lyon are preparing to welcome some 8,000 runners of the Lyon Urban Trail by night, this Saturday, November 2. If certain streets, including rue de l'Antiquaille and rue Cleberg, have already been closed since 8 a.m. this morning; many others will be open from 6 p.m. and until late in the evening.
Rue des Farges, Montée du Chemin Neuf, Rue de Trion and Rue des Macchabées will be closed to traffic until 8:30 p.m. Just like rue Pierre Marion, which restaurant customers will still be able to cross upon presentation of a “pass”.
Rue des Chevaucheurs and Montée de Choulans (in the upward direction from the intersection with Avenue Debrousse to the Rue de Trion crossroads) will be inaccessible to cars until 11 p.m. Montée du Télégraphe, Rue du Cardinal Gerlier and Rue du Bas de Loyasse will be closed until midnight.
