Gathered this Thursday, October 31 at the Stade Saint-Symphorien, the Moselle Departmental Council, FC Metz and the eight partner Moselle clubs have officially renewed for two years the “CLUB FC Metz Moselle” convention, a unique project in France.
This unique partnership brings together FC Metz, the Moselle Departmental Council (CD57) and eight partner clubs:US Forbachthe FC Sarrebourgl’APM Metzthe CSO Amnévillel’IN Saint-Avoldl’US Thionville Lusitanosthe RS Magny and the Sarreguemines FC.
In the presence of the Vice-President of the Departmental Council of Moselle, Armel Chabanefrom the President of the Mosellan Football District, Christophe Sollner, from the President of FC Metz, Bernard Cooland the President of the FC Metz Association, Pierre Gilletthese eight training courses approved the continuation of a project, the beginnings of which date back to 2012.
This is part of a unique dynamic of proximity between the professional club and local amateur football, relying on a mixed approach promoting synergy between all stakeholders.
Through the signing of this new agreement, FC Metz can thus consolidate its links with amateur footballwhile supporting the development of the department's future female and male hopes thanks to a shared sporting ambition.
At the same time, these affiliated clubs will benefit from the expertise of the garnet club and the contribution of young people trained at the Training Center who, if they do not continue their professional career, will be able to join the senior Moselle teams.
A win-win partnership made to last!
