90 U7 and U9 teams in Montigny le Roi for the JND!

Last Saturday took place the famous and traditional National Beginners’ Day, closing the 2023-2024 season for these categories. After Maranville 2 years ago and Poissons last year, it was the Sarrey Montigny club which was designated to be the “host club” for this major event bringing together around 500 children for a day.

The day began with a superb opening ceremony marking the support of Haut-Marne football for the French teams, under the admiring eyes of Patrick Pion, the deputy national technical director, present in Haute-Marne since the day before. All the teams were able to parade around the field highlighting their club sign that they had created: ideal for highlighting the philosophy and values of each club. The children were then able to have fun throughout the day through meetings, of course without ranking. The smiles of the children testified to the quality of this day! The day ended with an awards ceremony for all the children. A useful reward since it is a reusable “FFF” bottle.

A big thank you to the Sarrey Montigny club for its excellent organization in terms of reception and logistics with the provision of a large number of volunteers who worked all day alongside the district technical team led by Romain Offroy. A nod to our partners involved in this day: Crédit Agricole Champagne Bourgogne and Kévin Roussel from Presta DJ Evènementiel.
