Hotel owners, owners of gites, holiday villages, campsites, site managers tend to smile. They give an average rating of 6 out of 10 to their activity in April and May. It’s not that bad, it’s in line with their expectations and their turnover is holding up. Especially since it started in the rain, which caused numerous cancellations.

For the summer in Pays de la Loire, a Olympic year and we are not very far from Paris, accommodation professionals have not yet noticed a significant impact on their level of reservations. We still observe a very small increase for furnished accommodation during the two weeks of the Games, at the end of July, beginning of August.
Mayenne Tourisme recently launched a communications campaign in order to promote the department’s hotels to attract visitors looking for reasonably priced accommodation for the Olympics and Paralympics.
