The eighth edition of the Departmental Grand Prix for sustainable construction, development and architecture is launched. This price concerns construction, renovation or development projects carried out in the Hautes-Alpes for less than five years and which fit into a process of sobriety and of energetic performancemobilization of renewable energies and integration of sustainable materials.

Any project owner (communities, individuals, entrepreneurs, farmers, etc.), project manager (architects, builders, etc.) or construction and development professionals (companies, craftsmen, design offices. ..) may submit an application, subject to the agreement of the owner or project manager.

“This grand prize is a tool desired by the Department to identify and highlight projects engaged in virtuous approaches, which integrate energy transition objectives and which contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,” indicates the president of the Department, Jean-Marie Bernard.

“The candidate projects will be subject to a technical analysis by architects, town planners, or even thermal engineers.continues Marc Viossat, president of CAUE 05. They will be presented to a jury composed of elected representatives of the Department and administrators of the CAUE, in particular architects.”

The prizes will be presented to the winners duringa ceremony to be held in early fall.
