Only one species of fish and of a certain size is concerned. This remains very limited on the scale of the volume of water.
Only carp
This first conclusion is confirmed. As the mortality only concerns carp, it seems that it could be a specific disease of this type of fish. viremia », explained by the climatic conditions of the said period.
This disease is in no way dangerous for humans, it develops at temperatures between 11 and 17°C. The fish carry external lesions such as melanosis and hemorrhages on the dermis, as well as the fins.
