The amateur rally festival takes place around this weekend, with more than 220 competitors. Among them, a crew from the Dordogne-Périgord stable. He is trained by Mathieu Lurgo, associated with Clément Strugeon on a Renault Twingo RS in the R2 category. They qualified for this final by finishing in the top ten of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Sud league.

We must also not forget Gaétan Debec, who will sail the Aveyron driver Yves Best on a Renault Clo R3. This trio will represent the Dordogne in the Nice hinterland, on roads often used by the Monte-Carlo rally. With in particular the famous Col du Turin special stage.

The locals will perhaps still have a little more advantage than usual but the favorites will be Cyril Audirac, Anthony Puppo, Bruno Riberi, Louis Constant or Patrick Magnou. They will cover 534.66 km, divided into two stages and four sections. With first a 5.8 km prologue at the Col de Vence this Friday morning, then the first two specials in the early evening and six others the next day (three in the morning, as many in the afternoon). Or 128.74 km timed.
