The accident took place this Sunday, at the Route de Murs, in the town of Venasque, according to information from Bleu . Indeed, around 2:30 p.m., two vehicles collided, in the opposite direction, on this road which is located in the Vaucluse department.

The two vehicles which collided head-on and head-on were a car and a motorhome. The two people in the crashed car are both 18 years old. It concerns a woman and a man who had to be transported to hospital in absolute emergency, after the accident.

Aged 61, the driver of the motorhome had to be extricated

Concerning the motorhome, its driver is a 61-year-old man. The head-on collision between the two vehicles was so violent that the sixty-year-old found himself trapped in the passenger compartment of his motorhome when emergency services arrived on site. The victim therefore had to be extricated, before being transported to hospital, with his passenger, a 58-year-old woman.

The two victims present in the camper van were slightly injured and were in a relative emergency at the time of their treatment. Still according to information from France Bleu, seventeen firefighters from the Vaucluse department were dispatched to the site to provide assistance to the four injured people.
