Rain, thunderstorms and strong gusts are expected this Thursday, October 17 in the afternoon.

Météo- extended orange vigilance to thirteen departments including Hérault this Thursday, October 17. The peak of this episode of bad weather is expected this afternoon between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Severe thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, possible hailstones and heavy precipitation are expected. The episode is likely to be brief but potentially violent.

Hérault is kept on yellow alert for rain-floods, floods and submersion waves. Note that the road between Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone and Palavas-les-Flots is already closed to traffic this Thursday morning.
