An exceptional event, an exceptional measure. The Yvelines prefecture launched this Saturday, October 12, 2024, an accelerated procedure for recognition of the state of natural disaster in order to respond to the damage caused in the department following the passage of Storm Kirk between Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 October.
An accelerated procedure
THE municipalities concernedmainly in the south of Yvelines, wishing to benefit from this recognition must send their file to the Departmental Directorate of Territories (DDT) before October 17 at 12 p.m. An exceptional commission will be held on October 22.
This accelerated procedure aims to enable the adoption of decisions recognizing the state of natural disaster in faster deadlines than usual.
Overflows, mudslides…
Only events linked to river overflows and runoff and mudslides will be examined by this exceptional commission.
