The first edition of Long-coast trail is organized this Saturday, October 12, 2024 in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef (-Atlantique) by the association Le Longe-Côte Club de , formerly Jade fit sport nature.

Running, walking and hillwalking all at once

This is an event which combines running, walking and coast walking on a varied route between sea and land departing from the rescue center, on the great beach of Tharon.

This new discipline is open to everyone, beginners, experienced or simply curious.

“This is the first time that we are organizing such an event in Loire-Atlantique, this discipline being very widespread in the south of France,” specifies Romain Leraysports coach. The Tharon site is ideal with its large beach and its dune which give a natural side to the event. Our objective is to develop this practice that can attract a new audience. There are subtleties to differentiate the trail, which is a mixture of running and longe-climb, and the trek which is a mixture of walking and longe-climb.”
