€88.80: this is the price of the Navigo pass which could come into force in 2025. The Parisian echoes this news, which comes as the Social Security finance and financing bill (PLFSS) for 2025, presented yesterday by the government, expects inflation to be 1.8%. The calculation formula at Île-de-France mobilities (IDFM), based on “inflation + 1%” for each year, as provided for in the “tariff shield” planned by Valérie Pécresse, the president of the Île Regional Council -de-France, and the government.
This “tariff shield” provides that price increases for the Navigo pass do not exceed “inflation + 1%”at least until 2031. Which ensures IDFM, in theory, to secure its budget for 2025 (12 billion euros). This increase of €2.40, for those who have an annual pass and for whom the 12th month is free, could approach €26.60, or a total of €977 per year.
Other increases to come
Already in September, Valérie Pécresse had announced, in a desire for simplification, a single price of €2.50 for the price of tickets, valid on all lines and all zones in Île-de-France. For Liberté + pass holders, who also benefit from connections with buses and trams, prices are €1.99.
Sold to him for €12, one single day Navigo pass will be implemented (it cost €20.60 until then), which however does not allow access to airports. A single ticket for airports will be set at €13. The Paris Visite ticket will be sold at €29.90, and will give access to the airports.
