Unheard of since 1958! The night was still harsh for the inhabitants of Coulommiers. Following the flooding that paralyzed the city center after Storm Kirk, the water level finally began to drop.

The municipal team was therefore able to reopen certain roads, notably the RD934, with the exception of rue Abel-Prouharam (between Carnot and Triangle) which remains closed at present.

Very early this Friday, October 11 in the morning, the cleanliness teams began cleaning certain roads. The city should soon return to normal.

“They also picked up some bulky items on their way. They take turns day and night to manage this emergency situation and guarantee the safety of everyone,” comments the City. We thank them for their valuable help as well as the WIAME company and the Department of Seine-et- for their support. They provide us with equipment and personnel in the city to lend us a helping hand. »
