Dor some time ago, the Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem brigade suspected the existence of a “deal” point in the hamlet of Bleue maison in Éperlecques.
Friday October 4, 2024, at the end of the day, after several weeks of investigation, reinforced by the PSIG of Wizernes, the research brigade of Saint-Omer and the dog investigation group of Lesquin, the soldiers carried out the arrest of two thirty-somethings from Éperlecques and Racquinghem.
If it was indeed in Éperlecques that the trafficking took place, the searches carried out at their respective homes led to the seizure of approximately 800 g of various narcotic products (LSD, MDMA, resin and cannabis herb) and nearly 1,500 euros in cash. The resale of these products allows, among other things, to finance their consumption. 16 of their “clients”, including a minor, were able to be identified and interviewed during the time in police custody.
Having admitted all of the alleged facts, the two defendants are summoned before the Saint-Omer criminal court in order to answer for their actions within the framework of a summons for prior recognition of guilt at least June 2025.
Consumers will be subject to a subsequent criminal response.
The fight against drugs remains a government priority and as such this is the third point of deal dismantled on the Saint-Omer company in the last two months.
