“Following the publication of the lists of deputies of the PDS (Takku Wallu Senegal) coalition, we noted that none of the leaders of the Senegalese Democratic Party in the department of Nioro (young people, men, women) appear on the lists , neither departmental nor national. The youth of Nioro see a double humiliation, on the one hand regional, on the other generational. We cannot accept such a crime at the expense of the Nioro department and the youth of the party. We challenge the national Secretary General of the party, President Abdoulaye Wade, who has always favored his youth, as well as the party’s candidate, President Karim Meissa Wade, in the face of such injustice. The position of the youth of Nioro department is to remain indifferent to these elections, which benefit neither the party nor its activists, even less its candidate for winning the 2029 presidential election.
