Matam, Oct 5 (APS) – Several educational establishments in the communes of Matam and Ourossogui were cleaned on Saturday, as part of the 5th national cleaning day (Sétal sunu reew), dedicated to schools, noted the APS.

At the start of this day, the governor of the Matam region, Saïd Dia, accompanied by the prefect of Matam, Tening Faye and educational authorities, went to the Mamadou Touré Middle School where the ‘activity.

The Gourel Serigne primary school, the Tantadji nursery school and the Matam high school were also visited by the delegation which concluded its tour at the Ourossogui high school.

Concerning the schools occupied by the victims following the overflowing of the Senegal River, He reported that they were all liberated by the occupants.

On this point, the victims of the Matam department were relocated to Nabadji Civol, in a base made available to them by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Land and Air Transport, according to him.
