Two men were shot dead on Sunday May 5 in Sevran, less than 48 hours after a shooting linked to drug trafficking which left one dead and several seriously injured in this town of Seine-Saint-Denis, Agence France learned. Press (AFP) from police sources.

The two men were killed around 6 p.m., Allée des Lilas, in the Montceleux district, 1.4 km from the scene of the fatal shooting on Friday evening, according to one of these sources. The shooter(s) fled, she added. Aged 33 and 35, the two men killed were known for violence and drug trafficking, said a second police Source.

Many police officers were present at the scene on Sunday evening, noted an AFP journalist. Two mobile force units were sent to the site, said a police Source.

Shooting in the Beaudottes district

During the night from Friday to Saturday, a 28-year-old man had already been killed and four others injured during a shooting in the Beaudottes district of this poor town in the northern suburbs of Paris. Three other gunshot wounds also showed up at the hospital later that night.
