A head-on collision has killed three people on Route 108 in Bury.

A collision on Saturday evening on Route 108 in Bury left three people dead. The accident happened around 10:15 p.m., near Route 255. The road is now reopened.
For an unknown reason, a vehicle with two people on board traveling east would have deviated from its lane and ended up in the oncoming lane, thus causing a head-on collision
explains the spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec, Nicolas Scholtus.
Following this collision, a 23-year-old driver and her 24-year-old passenger, as well as the other 70-year-old motorist, [ont] were transported to the hospital for injuries that left us fearing for their lives

They were later pronounced dead. The spokesperson specifies that an investigation in collaboration with the coroner’s office is underway. An investigator as well as reconstructionists from the Sûreté du Québec were dispatched to the scene to establish the causes and circumstances of this collision.
The road was able to reopen at 5 a.m. Sunday.
