It became a traditionMay 1: the famous tractor festival is repeated every year in Épinay-sur-Odon, in the Calvados.
Organized by the town’s festival committee, the meeting took place again full boxwith nearly a thousand visitors gathered during the day, from all over Normandyand in particular neighboring villages.
Around a hundred tractors on display in the village
“Despite mixed weather at the end of the day, it was a success », Rejoices the president of the festival committee, Stéphane Travert.
We sold 130 pieces of tripe in the morning and at lunch. Around forty exhibitors were present at the garage sale, including a stand from the APE of Épinay-sur-Odon, as well as local artisans from the sector. On the ground, around a hundred tractors of all brands and ages were presented then paraded down the main street, with the assistance of the agricultural heritage association. We are all satisfied with this beautiful day, I thank all the volunteers who worked to make this day a success, as well as the owners for lending the field to display the tractors.
The next event of the Épinay-sur-Odon festival committee will be on the occasion of the music festival, June 21, 2024.
