The people of Jura rejected the two items submitted to them during the federal vote this Sunday.
“No” to the biodiversity initiative
The people of Jura reject the popular initiative “For the future of our nature and our landscape” by 64.8% of the votes. All the municipalities reject the biodiversity initiative. Ederswiler (82.1%), Bourrignon (81.3%) and Alle (79.0%) have the highest refusal rate. The district of Delémont (62.5%), Franches-Montages (63.5%) and the district of Porrentruy (68.9%) all rejected the text with a participation rate of 50.2%.
“No” to the reform of the LPP
The people of Jura reject the amendment to the law on occupational pensions by 77.1% of the votes. All the municipalities in the canton rejected the LPP reform. The highest refusal rate was recorded in the municipalities of Les Enfers (85.5%), Saulcy (84.7%) and Fontenais (83.7%). The “no” vote was 78.9% in the district of Delémont, 73.9% in that of Porrentruy and 78.2% in Franches-Montagnes. The turnout reached 50.3%./ero
