The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported two new cases of Covid-19 infection in its weekly bulletin on Friday.
In its bulletin on the epidemiological situation covering the period from September 21 to 27, the ministry specifies that the number of first-time vaccinated reached 24,924,967, that of people having received two doses amounts to 23,427,023, while 6,889. 755 people received three injections of the vaccine and 61,582 the fourth dose.
The new weekly infection report brings the total number of contaminations to 1,279,434 since the first case reported in Morocco on March 2, 2020, with a weekly positivity rate of 1.3%.
The total number of deaths remains at 16,309, for a general case fatality rate of 1.3%, while active cases number 3.
The new cases of infection were recorded in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region (02).
