In 2024, the zero waste garden of Lunel blows out its first candle. The event will be celebrated from October 5th to 11that the same time as National Living Soil Weekwith many activities and entertainment.

Learn to garden differently. This is the goal of the zero waste garden in . To achieve this, the City of Lunel is planning a varied program for one week:

  • Saturday October 5thfrom 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.: activities around natural phyto products, making a lasagna mound, shredding with a lawnmower and tour of the garden.
  • Monday October 7thfrom 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: shredding plants and raising awareness of zero waste gardening.
  • Friday October 11from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.: activity on soil biodiversity and creation of birdhouses and bird feeders using recycled objects.

Finally, please note that the public can visit the garden every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., starting October 16. In addition, the purchase of a composter on site is also possible.
