This weekend, there’s no question of quenching your thirst over a 1664 Blanc beer. Several batches of beer marketed by Kronenbourg were contaminated with ethylene glycol, used as antifreeze and dangerous to health if ingested.
The ingestion of ethylene glycol is followed, after a few hours of latency, by digestive disorders (nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain) and depression of the central nervous system, according to the National Institute for Research and Safety (INRS). ). A large dose can cause shock, coma and convulsions.

An accidental presence denounced by the government organization RappelConso, Thursday April 18 on batches marketed between April 3 and April 10, only in the stores of the distributor Intermarché in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie (Intermarché, Hyper, Super).
