Pierre-Mathieu Fernandes, 22-year-old rugby player, died in a road accident this Saturday, May 4 in Saint-Clair-du-Rhône. Around 7:50 a.m. on departmental 4, his car left the road and hit a tree. The emergency services sent to the scene could only note the death.

In a press release, the club announced its “deep sadness“. Joined by the editorial staff of Bleu Isère, the president of the club Yann Arnaud reacts. “He was a young man who obviously had rugby qualities, but also human qualities.” he confides. “He was a smiling, very polite young man, with great values. Even though he only joined us at the start of the season, his disappearance remains a shock for everyone” concludes Yann Arnaud.
