What motivated you to participate in Secret Story?
The season is really focused on strategy and I really relate to it, especially through my job which is magic. Secrets mean a lot to me. I said why not, it was a new experience. I passed the milestone and I’m very happy I did.
Have you watched the previous seasons?
Very little. I knew Secret Story but I rediscovered it this year.
What was your first impression when you entered the new House of Secrets?
There are lots of colors! I wanted to get to know everyone. There is also a little stress when we arrive on set, before entering the house. It’s a bit of the unknown, we know what we’re getting into and at the same time there are quite a few things to discover.
Had you already thought about strategies to put in place before embarking on the adventure?
A few days before entering the game, my mom gave me a short list of strategies on how to convince people (laughs). I read them but as soon as I set foot in the house of secrets, I realized that it wasn’t of much use to me. We don’t know the people we’re going to live with, everything is called into question in relation to the strategy we could have established before. Because everything is increased tenfold: emotions, our doubts about secrets. I established a little strategy before but I didn’t apply it at all, because I saw that it was more complicated than I thought.
What did you think of the other players when you met them?
There are a lot of strong personalities. There are a lot of very extroverted people in the house, and so I had a very good impression. From the start there was really this spirit of camaraderie. From the first day, there was an atmosphere like the scouts, we spent our time playing hawk, at 1-2-3 sun. We’re just among ourselves, cut off from the world. In fact it’s really great, these are memories that I will keep for life.
When did you split into two clans?
Initially, I had a strong affinity with Maxence, Léo and Lou. There was a split after the first secret was revealed and the first votes approached. Naturally, there was a group made up of Léo, Maxence, Lou, Perrine and me and we agreed to put certain people from the other group in the airlock. We felt betrayed by Alexis and Zoé who voted differently and that put us in danger. It created a split.
You have buzzed Zoé’s secret. How did you arrive at this title?
I had already seen her face because she worked on social networks for RTBF. When she told me in the house that she was a secretary in a blinds company, I figured she was lying. I kept this info to myself at the time and told myself I would use it in my own way. Several locals asked Zoe if she had ever modeled before, and she was always evasive. I found the same lying gestures as when I asked him about his job. We had a “Barbie” party where we each paraded for laughs and Zoé had a lot of presence, we had the impression that she had already done that before. And in the house, there are clues on the walls. In the bedrooms, above the beds, there is a scarf. I thought of a miss’s scarf. I knew her vaguely but I had no clue about her secret.
What did you think of Cassandra’s choice to name you?
I was a little surprised but it’s true that she had to make a choice. With Cassandra, I didn’t have much affinity at the start of the game. I understand her. I hoped to find myself in the airlock only once, in the final. But that’s the game. I don’t blame her, we explained things afterwards and I remain on very good terms with her.
Do you think your clan can go far despite being outnumbered?
I am convinced that yes. Our advantage is that we are all on the same wavelength. We always stayed together, very positive. We are very united while on the other side of the house, they are more divided. There are mainly pairs or small groups. We might be able to have more weight in the next votes. Now seeing who will be the master of the house, it’s a big advantage that changes everything.
Which pairs are you talking about within the other clan?
There are people who are closer, like Ulysses and Cameron. Charlène and Francesca too, obviously. From a moment on, there will be personal interests that will play a role in strategy. Charlène and Francesca will play their game and perhaps distance themselves from the rest of the group. Maybe Cameron and Ulysses will also have to protect themselves because Ulysses was in danger this week. There are going to be a lot of twists and turns and it’s “Secret Story” so a lot can happen that will change the course of alliances and strategies.
