While the first volume of Trouble Maker by Laura Swan was released in November 2023, it quickly established itself on social networks, thanks to the #BookTok phenomenon: Internet users who share literary reviews on the Chinese social platform. Trouble Maker : an addictive plot?

Trouble Maker tells the story of June, a young girl who is a victim of harassment in her high school and violence at home.
