Lausanne HC signed a seventh success in a row in the National League. The Vaudois beat Zug 2-1 on Monday evening and thus strengthened their leadership position.
The victory of the LHC was assured… one second from the end of overtime! Bozon scored on a service from Frick to allow his team to avoid the penalty shootout.
The visitors opened the scoring through Martschini in the 8the. Yet four against five, Sklenicka had tied the teams in the 30the.
In the standings, the LHC is now eight points ahead of the Zurich Lions. But we must not forget that the title holders have played four games less than their victims last season in the play-off final.
