Jamie Lee Curtis will never be in favor of cosmetic surgery.
The 66-year-old actress agreed to pose nude on the cover of More magazine more than twenty years ago, provided she did so without makeup, and she now insists she “will go to her falls” by campaigning against the idea that women are “not beautiful enough” as they are.
She told People: “I said, ‘I’ll do it if you take a picture of me with no makeup, no clothes, no hair, no hairstyle, no nothing.’ And then you take a picture of me fully dressed, fully made up, glamorous, and you say how long it took, how much money it cost, how many people it took to make me look like that.’ criticized all of this vehemently, and I will remember it until I die, the existence of a cosmeceutical industrial complex which tells women that they are not beautiful enough without this stupid idea of facial augmentation, products of fillers, injections, facelifts, all those glow-ups that these women do.”
