Gazelle de Val, proud representative of Mayenne, won the Prix du Calvados (Gr.2), the last qualifying event for the highly anticipated Prix de Cornulier, this Sunday January 5 at the Vincennes racecourse. On this occasion, Edition Géma and Jasmine de Vau also qualified, finishing second and third respectively.
(Zone-turf.fr) – Mare bred and trained by Éric Lambertz, the daughter of Viking by Val and Axelle Du Noyer continues to impress observers. With seven consecutive victories under the saddle, she remains undefeated in this discipline and positions herself as one of the logical favorites for the next Prix de Cornulier, contested on Sunday January 19 in the temple of trotting. Gazelle de Val could well write a memorable page in history by reaffirming the place of Mayenne among the great lands of trotting.
