This Monday, January 6, 2025, TF1 broadcast an extract from the Star Academy on his social networks. In this extract, we can see Marine in tears, talking about ses complexes. A video which was not really unanimous on the Web. Indeed, since the start of the new season of Star Academy, many Internet users have accused the production of favoritism.
If the title of best student in this promotion is often attributed to Ebony, many Internet users have judged that the production highlights Marine, whether in daily newspapers or on social networks. Conversely, other candidates like Franck or Charles are more discreet. So when TF1 publishes yet another video of Marine, it tends to annoy Internet users.

Marine confides in her complexes
In this video, published this Monday January 6, 2025, we can hear Marine declare: “For me there is no woman who wants to be me when she sees that”. Before adding to Marlène Schaff: “But I’m not saying that I think I’m ugly or anything, like when I’m wearing good makeup like that, with good hair and everything, I think I’m beautiful. But you see it’s things like 10 cm more, 3 kilos less” .
Then marine adds: “I don’t know when you imagine an attractive woman you don’t imagine that. And what’s more, there’s the funny side too which breaks.” But her comrades immediately try to contradict her. “It’s deductive to be funny”, Ebony remarks. Then, Marlène Schaff takes over by firmly declaring: “At what point did this thought come into your mind to tell you ‘1m53 is not attractive’, while you have Maureen who said exactly the opposite, she said ‘I have complexes because I’m tall’ so where is it good? How much do you have to measure to be good? Then how much do you have to weigh to be good? From the moment you are, without apologizing, you release something that means that? ‘what is I wish I was like her.”

This moving sequence did not fail to provoke a reaction from Internet users, many of whom shouted favoritism. “The production doesn’t even hide the fact that their favorite is very marinated! The montage of the daily with two minutes of Marine asking to vote for her and to talk about her doubts about Charles, it’s so unfair and the Star Academy posts on Marine!”, writes an Internet user. Before concluding: “I hate this pro-marine Star Academy production!”
