The month of December brought its share of festivities to the town to the delight of the Columérins, from the youngest to the oldest: the seniors opened the ball, literally and figuratively, the town was adorned with its more beautiful finery, community houses and neighborhoods have multiplied the activities and the enchantments and the Christmas fair spread joy and good humor… Make way for 2025!
At the media library and art center
The first month of this new year sees the resumption of the workshops at the Pavillon blanc Henri-Molina after its traditional Christmas break. So, little ones are expected today at 11 a.m. to listen to the beautiful stories told by the media librarians.
In addition, a new exhibition entitled “Becoming city” will be installed from Friday 24.
Through it, the different ways of designing, building and living in cities within an ecological ecosystem will be addressed.
Various activities will be on the program to launch this new cultural time.
And, as part of the 9th Reading Nights, a big quiz is planned for Saturday 25th.
Concerts and dance
Two concerts will be given in the Sainte-Radegonde church. Tomorrow, at 4 p.m., the Roques Choir will perform songs from the lyrical and gospel repertoire.
The second will take place on Sunday 19 at the same time with the Choeur Sacré Bel Canto who will offer the public an anthology of opera arias, variety and sacred songs.
Free entry and participation for both dates.
Saturday 18, from 9 p.m., the Gascogne room will open for the grand Trad des Arpalhands ball.
Lottery month
By tradition, the month of January is that of lotteries.
In the evening, the Comminges Hall will host that of the Etoile gymnastique (Friday 10) then the Friends of Jean Jaurès and Léon Blum (Saturday 11).
The one offered by synchronized swimming will take place on Sunday 12 at 2:30 p.m.
On Saturday 18, European Citizenship will organize its own at 9 p.m., and Secours populaire the next day at 2:30 p.m. On Saturday 25 at 9 p.m., it will be the turn of the Festival Committee then the Amicale columérine des veterans, on Sunday 26 at 2:30 p.m.
