The event explores the parallels between the work of Chaïbia Tallala key figure in Moroccan art, and the “CoBrA” movement, born in the 1940s in Europe, recognized for its search for a form of raw art, instinctive and free from academic constraints. Through this exhibition, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in a unique visual dialogue between the spontaneity of Chaïbia Tallal, whose canvases vibrate with raw energy and dazzling color, and the iconoclastic vision of the group CoBrAwho advocated free expression, without technical or intellectual constraints. The two worlds, although geographically distant, share the same quest for creative freedom, a search for authenticity and a break with traditional artistic conventions.
The exhibition thus highlights the creative affinities between Chaïbia Tallal and the artists of the “CoBrA” movement, through their works which liberate color, shape and material to celebrate the expression of raw and instinctive emotion. Visitors can discover how these artists explored notions of freedom, spontaneity and individuality. Until March 3, this exhibition invites you to discover the exuberance of these works through a look at two visions which have, each in their own way, redefined the place of art in the modern world. An unmissable event for art lovers, the curious and those who wish to explore the liberating power of creativity.
