After a green edition dedicated to Kermit, Oris presents a bright pink version of the ProPilot X in a collaboration with the immortal Miss Piggy from The Muppet Show.
It’s one of the current trends in watches: pink is definitely popular, whether worn on a man’s or a woman’s wrist. This time, to begin the 2025 vintage, it is the turn of the independent Swiss manufacturer Oris to unveil a bright pink edition of its ProPilot X. But not only…
Indeed, beyond its bright pink dial, this novelty not only features a baguette diamond index at 12 o’clock, but also a most astonishing case back. It is in fact equipped with a window revealing and hiding a portrait of Miss Piggy, the other main star of the Muppet Show with Kermit (to whom the brand had already dedicated a special edition, obviously equipped with a green dial, and displaying “Kermit Day” once a month).
This new version of the ProPilot X with a 34 mm diameter stainless steel case is powered by a Swiss Made automatic movement. Its mirror-polished case back reveals, via a small round window, the image of Miss Piggy on a lilac rotor, appearing and disappearing over time, as the watch rotates.
“We are very excited to collaborate with Miss Piggy, the most fabulous slut in the world,” explained Rolf Studer, co-CEO of Oris, unveiling in Zermatt this new chapter of one of the most cheerful collaborations in Swiss watchmaking. “Like her, we are optimistic about the future and want to enjoy the present moment. Life is too short not to have big dreams and have fun. » For Claudine Gertiser-Herzog, Co-CEO of Oris, Miss Piggy “is the perfect person to tell Oris’ story and a great example of someone following their own path. I always thought of Miss Piggy as a glamorous and powerful woman, with a unique sense of humor. She is a strong personality, full of energy, with an independent spirit, always knowing exactly what she wants. She embodies self-confidence and independence, while remaining true to herself. » So, in 2025, it is still possible to do things, and to create watches, seriously, but with a smile…
