Here are the next four shows planned at the Éclat theater in Pont-Audemer (Eure), in January 2025.
ANGST: on the edge of fear
January 10 at 8:30 p.m. All Germanists immediately understood what this show was about. It’s all in the title, in this word “angst”, anxiety or fear in our language. It is therefore this intense emotion and its effects on human behavior that this show, created in March 2023 during the “SPRING” Festival in Dieppe, deals with.
The performances of the artists in balancing juggling are a pretext to address the phobias : vertigo, need for control… The production, directed by Clément Dazin, offers an exploration of the mechanisms of fear, perceived in our society as both a constraint and a driving force. This show is accessible from the age of 12.
Pinocchio revisited in the theater
January 14 at 7 p.m. You know the tale of Carlo Collodi: Pinocchio, the puppet who dreamed of being a little boy. From this fascinating story, the Cohue company created a one-hour theatrical show during which three actors tackle universal questions: life, death, metamorphosis, manipulation, power. In the universe offered to us, the aesthetic is post-industrial, made of sound creations.
Ludilo: theater for the little ones
January 18 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. (35 minutes – theater without words, from 18 months). “In object theater, all it takes is a look, a gesture.” The company The Square Sheep knows it well. “Everything is play in the life of the little one, who, from successive trials to accidental discoveries, plunges into the pleasure of experimenting. »
“Gonna love it!” » by Eva Rami
January 24, at 8:30 p.m. The show Will love it!written and performed by Eva Rami, is the third part of a trilogy which follows the evolution of the heroine Elsa Ravi. After Vole ! (on the transition to adulthood) and You are You! (self-affirmation), this one-on-one addresses love and forms of control. Created in 2023, it won the Molière 2024 for best solo act.
The play features Elsa, surrounded by a chorus of female characters – mother, grandmothers and friends – played by the actress herself. Through their stories, the show explores the confinement of women and the obstacles to their development. The caged bird motif, given to Elsa by her grandmother, illustrates her own emotional blockage.
Topics covered include control, rape and incest, presented with an alternation of serious moments and humor. Elsa seeks to understand the origin of her brakes by revisiting her past with her loved ones and a therapist. The creation benefits from the support of several cultural institutions and has been praised for its intense and controlled performance. Excerpts, included in the file, reflect the realistic and direct style of the show.
