It all started yesterday with a leak Supposed to come straight from a Chinese application. We discovered a visual of Marvel Rivals on which the Fantastic Four proudly posed. The said visual was then presented as a preview of content for the first season of the game. All this seemed very coherent, especially since the film The Fantastic Four: First Steps is supposed to arrive in 2025. Without much surprise, it did not take long for the arrival of the Fantastic Four to be confirmed. In just 24 hours, the information went from rumor to official announcement. The visual in question was in fact shared on the title's social networks, as you can see below.
It's confirmed, the Fantastic Four are going to arrive as a family in Marvel Rivals. A priori, they should be available at the launch of season 1 which is scheduled for January 10 at 7 a.m. (French time). And they might not be alone. On the visual, we see not only Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch and the Thing, but also the Humanoid Experimental Robot, B-type, Integrated Electronics, or HERBIE for short. Does this mean that the little robot who joined the adventure Fantastic Four in 1978 will also throw himself into the arena of Marvel Rivals ? Nothing certain, but it is at least probable.
Another detail that intrigues players: the choice of background with red moon and bats. For those who can read between the lines of teasers Marvelthere is no doubt: the visual also announces the imminent arrival of Blade, the vampire hunter. This other hero Marvel will also have the right to a dedicated film during the year 2025. Its possible arrival in Marvel Rivals therefore makes complete sense. But to be sure, you'll have to be patient… just a little. The appointment is already set for January 6, 5 p.m. here, to discover a trailer presenting the Fantastic Four in the game. This will perhaps also be the opportunity to confirm, to fuel or to nip in the bud the hopes of the players, who knows.
