A big name from the Swiss comedy scene will grace the stages of Rires sur Lajoux. The third edition of the Franc-Montagnard festival, part of the poster of which was unveiled in November, will be held from April 9 to 12 at the Maison des Œuvres. Its organizers announced the rest of the program this Friday. The event will open with the Lajoux Comedy Club. This format dedicated to the Swiss comedy scene will be hosted by Laura Chaignat. La Taignonne was given carte blanche to choose the four artists who will perform during the evening of April 9. She selected the comedian Thomas Wiesel, “emblematic figure of Swiss humor”, note the organizers in the press release. The Vaudois will share the stage with the Jurassien Romain Wenger, the Fribourgeoise Aude Bourrier and the Valaisanne Forma.
One more date for Ropiane
Laughs on Lajoux will also make room for Ropiane. The organizers are offering an additional evening on April 10 to allow the regional artist to present his latest show Caroline the Return. /comm-nmy
