The program of literary meetings at the Lévignac media library is full of new releases and cultural discoveries. Tuesday January 14, resumption of the reading circle led by Malie Daubiné. A special Paul Auster session will highlight three key works from his career: “New York Trilogy” (Actes Sud, 1987), “Brooklyn Follies” (Actes Sud, 2005) and “4321” (Actes Sud, 2017) .
Tuesday January 28 at 6:30 p.m.as part of “Cité Chez Toi”, the media library is offering a dramatized reading around “Laughton” by Stéphane Jaubertie, a play which will be performed at the Théâtre de la Cité next March. The opportunity to discover the text, meet actors and attend its performance in Toulouse.
Tuesday, February 11 at 9:30 a.m.a literary workshop dedicated to the short story, this brief but impactful genre. Two works on the program: “Women of Algiers in their Apartment” by Assia Djebar and “A Respectable Woman” by Kate Chopin.
