If you don’t want to or can’t ski all day at Luz-Ardiden, many activities are organized at the resort.

Friday January 3, there is, for example, a dog handler workshop from 11 a.m. to noon (weather permitting). Explore the captivating world of rescue with Jean-Paul, tracker and avalanche dog handler accompanied by his faithful companion Rex. Reservation required this Thursday before 4 p.m. on www. Luz – ardiden.com. Visit to the snow factory from 2 to 3 p.m. (same registration condition).

In Luz, at 6 p.m., “Chuchellas” concert. This choir of 22 singers with colorful voices revisits the music of the Balkans with passion, evokes Gypsy festivals and takes you from Spain to Russia, via Nigeria and Japan. Singing in fourteen languages, they share with energy and boundless joy this musical adventure led by Barbara Lamothe, accompanied by the accordion, violin and percussion (free, all audiences).

Friday January 10, exit from the “Electro Magma” residency at the Maison de la Vallée.

“Electro Magma” is the meeting between Chloé Firefly and Electromic. Their duo offers music that fuses rap, trip hop, and electronic music. The varied influences of the two artists, the mixture of different languages, the bass lines, the hard-hitting lyrics transport you to a unique sound experience.
