Ludovic Faurie, craftsman in Tence, has just renewed the XXL poster that he hangs on his building near the Lignon bridge in Tence.

After a postcard dating from 1906, Tençois Ludovic Faurie hung a photo dating from 1942 on the wall of his workshop at the entrance to Tence. “This poster that I wanted for the season is a family photo captured during a pig slaughter in winter 1942 at the Besset farm. To enhance this image and pay homage to our traditions, I created a decor including a hay cart, a pig boiler and some garlands A display that combines history and festive spirit!

The Tençois was able to count on Monique Paulet for the genealogy of the people present in the image, Guillaume Perrier for the graphics, Charpentes Tencoises for the handling of the decor, Stéphane Dupin and Anthony Charroin for their help in renewing the poster.

This initiative, which is part of its commitment to energize and promote Tence, will be followed by an even more special poster, created by a designer from Puy-en-Velay… “but I'll leave the surprise for later!”
