At the Cannes ferry terminal (Alpes-Maritimes), the festive pop-up Gare Croisette is back this winter, with a new program.
From December 6, 2024 to 1is February 2025, the Cannes maritime station (Alpes-Maritimes), an event venue located at the foot of the Palais des Festivals, hosts the second edition of Croisette station. Tested in the summer of 2024, this pop-up combines a creators’ market, a bar and a catering offer, games and performances (concerts, stand-up). From January 10 to 12, there’s a second-hand market, before events around tattooing, gaming and then Midem, the music industry trade show. How did the big summer edition of Gare Croisette go?
The summer edition of Gare Croisette 2024, which was held from July 5 to August 25, 2024 in Cannes, transformed the maritime station into a vibrant space. A rich program punctuated the event, with varied DJ sets, live concerts, broadcasts of football matches, blind tests, karaoke, stand-ups, board games, dance workshops, fashion shows, live painting , as well as evenings. Thematic markets also took place on certain weekends.
Which activities did visitors like the most?
The season was a huge success. The terrace, the bar, the brunches and the corner shop particularly appealed to the public, helping to make this edition an unmissable summer event. The live concerts, evenings in collaboration with Twelty and stand-up were particularly appreciated, reinforcing the notoriety of the event.
Which exhibitors can we find on weekends this winter?
Grand Playground livens up the start of the year with a series of markets: the plant market (January 3 to 5), the thrift store market (January 10 to 12), the Playground Tattoo Club (January 17 to 19) and the gaming market (January 24 to 26). At the same time, various activities such as live painting sessions, fashion shows and dance classes will enrich the programming, attracting a diverse audience.
